As fresh new conversations around gender impact the way in which we dress (and vice versa), tired old rules are being broken and shaken up. We have all known that, for many years, a man wearing jewellery has, unfortunately, been something to be scoffed at. Wedding rings and watches aside, the adornment of a male body with rings, pendants or bracelets has been considered either ostentatious or not in keeping with the refined masculine ideal. But in this brave new world, many are becoming wise to the fact that a well-placed signet ring or a simple pendant tucked into a T-shirt can add character and identity to otherwise ‘everyday’ attire.
