Music ‘Drumboogie’ by Benny GolsonPort’s winter issue features an exclusive styled cover story with comic actor Will Ferrell (Anchor Man, Blades of Glory, Stranger Than Fiction) at his Hollywood home

Written by New York Times Magazine editor Jon Kelly, we get an exclusive insight into Ferrell’s career from the man himself as he reminisces about his tentative foray into the world of television journalism as a university graduate – a would-be anchor man – to his preparation for his current project, Anchor Man 2. Interviewed on the eve of the recent Presidential elections, Ferrell offers his candid views on the political situation in the United States, and discusses his ongoing support for President Obama.

Port editor Dan Crowe says: “We wanted to see Will as he is, not in role, but the man himself. He is close to a God for many people, his roles have become iconic and have inspired a new wave of satirical comedy in the US. But what is he like in real life? It was a delight to have the chance to find out at his home in LA, whilst he finished Anchor Man 2 with co-writer Adam McKay. The result is a cover shoot as real and as humble as any I have seen.”
