The Edit: Backpacks

As clever as the human body is, there isn’t much in ways of storage. Either you wear a coat with deep pockets or you’re forced to use a hand or two to hold whatever you’re carrying. One way is restrictive in terms of quantity and the other means you’re incapable of doing just about anything else. Somewhere along the line – history won’t give us an exact date – mankind, in its remarkable wisdom, invented a new way of transporting goods while keep the hands free. The backpack was born and we’ve never looked back since… here’s five of our favourites from the AW14 season.
